How do I activate and view my digital card details?
Download / Log in to the Citi Mobile® App. If you are a new customer, you will need to log in by entering your Medicare number, Drivers Licence number or Passport number along with your Date of Birth as entered in your credit card application.
You will see a message to notify you that your digital card is available and can be activated digitally.
Click ‘Activate digital card’
Click ‘Show’ to view your credit card number and expiry date
Click ‘View’ to see your temporary CVV number
Please note: If you choose not to activate your digital card after login, you can activate later by clicking ‘Manage’ on the card you wish to activate.
Can I use my credit card details while waiting for my physical card to arrive?
Yes, if you have applied for a new credit card or requested for a replacement card, you can use your digital credit card details while your physical card is on the way.
How do I use my card details with a temporary CVV?
You can use your digital card details to make online purchases and add your card to your mobile wallet.

Click on ‘Manage’ then ‘Show’ to view your credit card number and expiry date
Click on ‘View’ to see your temporary CVV number
Can I add my digital card details to my mobile wallet?
Yes, you can add your digital card details to your mobile wallet. Once you have activated your physical card, you do not need to delete and add your card to your mobile wallet again.
How long is my temporary CVV number valid for?
Your temporary CVV number is valid for 90 days from approval and will expire after this date. You will be required to activate your physical card prior to your temporary CVV number expiring.
What is the difference between my temporary CVV and permanent CVV number?
Your temporary CVV number can only be viewed via the Citi Mobile® App and can be used for up to 90 days from card approval or until your physical card is activated. Your physical card CVV number is found on the back of your physical card (3-digit number) and will replace your temporary CVV number on the Citi Mobile® App once activated. This CVV number will remain valid until the indicated expiry date on the back of your physical card.
How can I use my digital card if I don’t have the Citi Mobile® App?
If you are a new customer, you will need to download the Citi Mobile® App and log in by entering your Medicare number, Drivers Licence number or Passport number along with your Date of Birth as entered in your credit card application.
If you are an existing credit card customer, download the Citi Mobile® App and create your login details with your existing Citi credit card information.
Can I use digital card details if I am an additional cardholder?
No, digital card details are only available for Primary cardholders.
How do I activate my physical card once it arrives?
Log in to the Citi Mobile® App
On your home screen, click on 'Activate your new card'
Enter the 3-digit CVV number on the back of your physical card and click on 'Activate'
How do I view my physical card details via the Citi Mobile® App?
Log in to the Citi Mobile® App
On your home screen, click on ‘Manage’
Click on ‘Show’ to view your credit card number and expiry date
Click on ‘View’ to see your physical card CVV number
Please note: Your physical card CVV number will replace your temporary CVV number. Please use your physical card CVV number for your transactions and recurring payments.
Can I set up recurring payments with my temporary CVV number?
Yes, you can set up recurring payments with your temporary CVV number however please note that if you choose to set up any new recurring payments with your temporary CVV number, you will need to update the details again with your physical CVV number once you have activated your physical card.
If I am an existing customer, do I have to update my recurring payments with my physical card details once I activate my physical card?
If you are an existing customer and have any recurring payments previously set up with us (i.e. Citi PayAll), these do not need to be set up again. For other recurring payments, you will need to check with the merchant as some may require you to enter the new CVV number found on your new physical card.
