Information you will need to make international transfers
Receiving money from an overseas account
To receive international transfers, Citi Australia's SWIFT code is NATAAU34. To ensure payments correctly route to your Citi Australia account please provide this SWIFT code to the sender. The sender will need to include this code when initiating the payment to you.
There may be some instances where the sender’s bank requires additional information to route the payment to you. In those instances the following directions can be provided: Payments to Citi Australia (NATAAU34) are routed via the intermediary bank CITIAU2X. A currency intermediary may also be required. Please refer to the swift reference table to determine the currency intermediary.
Transfering money to another financial institution overseas
You will need the following information to make transfers to an overseas bank:
- Payee name and address
- Country
- Bank name
- SWIFT code or IBAN to identify the receiving financial institution around the world.

If you are sending money to an overseas Citi account please refer to the Citi SWIFT code table below.
