The move to MyCard, brought to you by NAB

In 2022, NAB announced its acquisition of the Citi consumer business in Australia.

On 24 November 2025, Citi branded credit cards and Citi Ready Credit accounts are moving to a new MyCard brand. Find out what’s changing and what this means for you.

About the changes

In 2022, we, National Australia Bank Limited (NAB) acquired the Citi consumer banking business in Australia. As we enter the next chapter, we're excited to announce that effective 24 November 2025, Citi branded Credit Cards and Citi Ready Credit accounts are moving to a new MyCard brand.

Here's what you need to know about what's changing – and what this means for you.

  • We're amending our terms and conditions to reflect the new MyCard brand, your account moving to a new system operated by NAB, new app and online experience, and other important changes. Any communication from us from this date will also reflect the new MyCard brand.
  • We're launching a new MyCard App and MyCard Online experience with new features for managing your account. To access and manage your account online from 24 November 2025, you'll need to download the new MyCard App or set up MyCard Online, as the Citi Mobile® App and Citi Online will be retired. We'll send you all the details on how to get set up in the new MyCard App and Online experience when it's launched.
  • A new MyCard website to assist you with your product, including a new login option that will take you to the new MyCard Online experience.
  • Other changes which we'll be communicating to you via email or letter from October 2025. We've also outlined changes in our Frequently Asked Questions below.

For now, you can continue using the current Citi Mobile® App and Citi Online to manage your account. We'll let you know when it's time to switch to the new MyCard experience and guide you through the setup.

You and any Additional Cardholders can continue to use your existing card to make purchases. We'll only send you a new MyCard branded physical card when your current card is up for renewal, or is lost or stolen, or you ask for a replacement or additional card. Any recurring card payments you've set up using your existing card will be processed as usual.

What you need to do

1.Read the Variation Notice we sent to you as well as the updated terms and conditions. The changes are effective from 24 November 2025 unless stated otherwise. You can find the Variation Notice and updated terms and conditions at citibank.com.au/credit-cards/terms.

2.Check your contact details are correct. To be informed and easily register for the MyCard App and MyCard Online from the Transition Date, please check or update your contact details by logging in to:

  • Citi Mobile® App > ‘Profile and settings’ > ‘Personal Information’
    or

Scheduled service downtime

Access to the Citi Mobile® App and Online will be unavailable from 7.30pm AEDT Friday 21 November while we introduce the new platform. We’ll notify you ahead of time with more information, and you can check here for the latest updates regarding service outages. If you require support during this time, please call us on 13 24 84 (or +61 2 8225 0615 if calling from overseas).

Temporary changes to services

As we prepare to transition to our new system, some account services and features will be temporarily unavailable. These include:

  • New Instalment Plans will not be able to be set up between 19 October 2025 and 24 November 2025. Any existing Instalment Plans set up prior to this date will continue.
  • If you asked us to close your account between 14 November 2025 and 24 November 2025 and you have a credit balance on your account, we will be unable to process a return of that amount to you during this period. Please call us on or after 24 November 2025, on 13 24 84 (or +61 2 8225 0615 from outside Australia) so we can process and refund your credit balance to your nominated account.
