With Citi PayAll, set up your rent, taxes, education fees, property management fees, childcare, miscellaneous bills and more and be sure to earn Points on every transaction. And the good news is that the number of points you will earn is uncapped.3

To get started, set up single or regular Citi PayAll payments by transferring funds directly from your credit card account to the bank account of the payee held with an Australian financial institution. You will be charged a 2% PayAll fee of the Citi PayAll amount.4

  • What is Citi PayAll?

    You can now pay your rent, education expenses, taxes, property management fees (for example, water, gas or electricity bills, strata payments or land tax) and other bills using your Citi credit card with the Citi PayAll feature for a small fee. Pay for goods and services by transferring funds directly from your account to a BSB and bank account of the payee held with an Australian financial institution.

    You will be able to earn Citi reward points, Qantas Points or Emirates Skyward Miles (depending on which rewards program you are enrolled in) on payments made via Citi PayAll.

    To start using Citi PayAll, please click on “Payments” via Citi Mobile® App or click on the link in the email or SMS sent to you.

  • Am I eligible to pay with Citi PayAll?

    You are eligible for Citi PayAll granted your card is not blocked or suspended for any reason. Citi PayAll offers are subject to eligibility and only available if your account is and remains in good standing.

  • Who can I pay using Citi PayAll?

    Citi PayAll allows you to pay your rent, education expenses, taxes, property management fees (for example, water, gas or electricity bills, strata payments or land tax) and other bills using your Citi credit card. Your recipient must have a bank account held with an Australian financial institution and will receive the funds via a bank fund transfer. Your recipients do not have to be a Citibank customer.

    Australians lose millions of dollars every year to scams and you can be better prepared by checking ASIC’s list, of companies and individuals prior to sending any money to them. If the company that you are setting up as a PAYEE is on this ASIC list, do not deal with them.

    This product should not be extended to repaying other debt held, for business purposes, for the purpose of gambling, or in connection with unlawful activities, to invest in shares or other financial products or for cryptocurrency related transactions.

  • Do I earn rewards on my transactions?

    Yes, depending on your card you will be able to earn reward points for each payment either Citi reward Points, Qantas Points or Emirates Skywards Miles. Please note, Terms and Conditions apply as per the Terms and Conditions of the rewards program of which you are enrolled.

  • Can I schedule a payment?

    Yes. When setting up your payment simply select the specific date of transfer as long as it is at least 7 business days away. For rent, education expenses and property management fees and miscellaneous, you also have the option to make this a weekly, fortnightly or monthly regular payments for the next 24 months.

    Please note that a fee is charged per Citi PayAll transaction. This means that each transaction in a regular payment schedule will incur a fee.

  • How long do payments take to reach my beneficiary?

    We cannot guarantee the time at which a payment will be credited by the recipient’s bank. We will not be liable for any late charges or fees you may incur. We are not responsible for any disputes between you and the intended recipient of a Citi PayAll payment. You cannot claim a chargeback in respect of a Citi PayAll payment.

  • Is there a fee for using Citi PayAll?

    Yes, a PayAll fee of 2% of the amount of the Citi PayAll payment is payable and is debited to your account each time a Citi PayAll payment is made. Please note that a fee is charged per Citi PayAll transaction. This means that each transaction in a regular payment schedule will incur a fee.

    Please note: PayAll fees may be subject to promotional offers from time to time.

  • Will my Citi PayAll payment(s) continue if I lose my card or report fraud on my card?

    Where regular Citi PayAll payments have been scheduled and a card relating to the account is renewed, substituted or replaced with another card, we can charge these payments to the renewed, substituted or replaced card. However, we cannot guarantee that these payments will always be charged to any renewed, substituted or replaced card.

  • Is there a cap to the amount I can transact via Citi PayAll?

    Citi PayAll payments are not subject to other caps on your card.

    You can enter an amount not exceeding your credit limit, subject to the maximum permissible monthly limit of $35,000.

    In addition to this, there are a maximum of 10 PayAll transactions allowed per month and a maximum of 5 PayAll transactions allowed to the same beneficiary per month.

  • Is there a deadline for me to set up Citi PayAll?

    You can set up a Citi PayAll at any time using your Citi Mobile® App. However, if you choose to enrol via an email or SMS invitation, please note that the offer is valid for 30 days from the day you receive either an email or SMS invitation.

  • How do I know if my set up or payment is successful?

    You will receive an email and SMS notification alert when the payment is set up and again when the payment is successfully charged to your card. Successful payments will be reflected in your credit card statement.

    If you have made a regular payment, you will also receive a notification alert every time the transaction is charged to your card.

    We will also notify you if your payment is unsuccessful. In this event, please make alternative arrangements to ensure your recipient gets paid on time.

  • My payment got rejected. What do I do now?

    You will receive an email and SMS notification when your payment is unsuccessful. If this happens, you will not be able to proceed with Citi PayAll and will need to make alternative arrangements to ensure your recipient gets paid on time.

  • If a payment is rejected, am I still charged?

    If your payment is rejected, the transaction amount and the PayAll Fee will be refunded to your card.

  • What happens if I input incorrect details and set the payment up to the wrong recipient? Can I raise a dispute on my Citi PayAll payment transactions?

    You should also check your statements carefully and promptly report to us as soon as you become aware of any Citi PayAll payments that you suspect are errors or did not authorise.

    Citi does not accept any liability for transfers made in accordance with your instructions.

    You must notify us immediately if you become aware that you did not authorise a Citi PayAll payment that has been made from your account.

    Please note that you cannot claim a chargeback in respect of any Citi PayAll transaction. In the event that you input incorrect account details and a payment is made to that recipient, we will investigate the matter in line with our mistaken payments process outlined in the Terms and Conditions applicable to your product.

  • Can I amend or cancel my transaction after I have confirmed it?

    You cannot amend your transactions once it has been set up.

    However, should you wish to cancel the transaction, please log into your Citi Mobile® App. You can review and cancel your existing payment instructions by selecting the PayAll option under “Payments” tab. You can also call us on 13 24 84 to cancel. Please ensure you cancel the transaction at least 7 business days before your next payment due date as the cancellation will not be processed once the payment is charged to your card.

  • How will my Citi PayAll payments be reflected on my credit card statement?

    Your payment will appear as "PAYALL" on your credit card statement, along with the payment category and your recipient’s name e.g "PAYALL RENT – ERICA LIM".

  • What is the earn rate for Citi PayAll transactions?

    Please see below for the accumulation of Points for all Citi PayAll spend. Earn rates for Citi PayAll are different to standard earn rates.

    Citi Premier credit card and Citi Prestige Cardholders who are enrolled in Citibank Rewards and not enrolled in Citibank Qantas Rewards. For any Eligible Transaction that is a Citi PayAll Payment, 1 reward Point/Qantas Point per $1 spent.
    Citi Premier credit card and Citi Prestige Cardholders who are enrolled in Citibank Qantas Rewards and not Citibank Rewards. For any Eligible Transaction that is a Citi PayAll Payment, 0.5 reward Point/Qantas Point per $1 spent.
    Citibank Rewards credit card - Classic, Citibank Gold credit card and Citi Rewards Card Cardholders who are enrolled in Citibank Rewards. For any Eligible Transaction that is a Citi PayAll Payment, 1 reward Point/Qantas Point per $1 spent.
    Emirates Citibank credit card Cardholders who are enrolled in to the Emirates Skywards Miles Program. For any Eligible Transaction that is a Citi PayAll Payment, 0.5 Skywards Miles per $1 spent.

  • Can I use Citi PayAll to pay my mortgage or other debts/loan repayments?

    This product should not be extended to repaying other debt held, for business purposes, for the purpose of gambling, or in connection with unlawful activities, to invest in shares or other financial products or for cryptocurrency related transactions.

  • Are there any recipients who I cannot transfer money to using Citi PayAll?

    Please refer to ASIC’s list of companies and individuals prior to sending any money to them. If the company that you are setting up as a PAYEE is on this ASIC list, do not deal with them.

  • Can I earn Qantas points using Citi PayAll?

    You will earn the points of the rewards program you are enrolled in. Please refer to the rewards Terms and Conditions of the product you are enrolled for more information.

1. Citi PayAll offers are subject to eligibility and only available if your account is and remains in good standing. Set up Citi PayAll payment instructions using mobile banking or in any other way we tell you that you can make a Citi PayAll payment. This is an amount you authorise us to pay once or on a regular basis from your account to another bank account held with an Australian financial institution (other than through BPAY®). This must be not less than 7 days from the date the Citi PayAll payment is set up, and if there is more than one payment to be made, the number and frequency of the payments and period over which they are to be made, you must ensure these details are correct. All Citi PayAll payments and Citi PayAll Fees we charge to your account will be added to the retail purchase balance and the Retail APR will apply to them. Citi PayAll payments are charged at the retail purchase rate applicable to your account and are only available on Citi PayAll payments outlined in the Credit Card Terms and Conditions and Other Important Information. A fee of 2% of the amount of the Citi PayAll payment is payable and is debited to your Account each time a Citi PayAll payment is made.
