Credit card accounts
You can close your credit card account in the following ways:
- Sign on to Citi Online
- Select 'Services'
- Select 'Card services'
- Select 'Manage my accounts'
- Select 'Account closure request'
Alternatively, contact us on 13 24 84 (or +61 2 8225 0615 if calling from overseas).
If you are enrolled in the Citi Rewards Program, please make sure you redeem any reward Points before initiating account closure, otherwise they will be forfeited and you will not be able to reactivate your account or redeem them after the account is closed.
Important things to understand before you close your account:
- Please make sure you redeem any reward Points before or upon your account closure request, otherwise they will be forfeited. Sign on to Citi Online to check your points balance and redeem now.
- Please cancel any recurring payments or direct debits you have set up. Visit our help guide for instructions.
- Once you have submitted your request to close your credit card account, we will not be able to reactivate your account.
- If you have not used Citi Online before, you will need to register first.
- Your account will continue to be visible online until you have paid off any outstanding balances.

Transaction, deposit or investment accounts
If you had a transaction, savings, home loan, term deposit or investment account with us, your account has moved to NAB.
