your Citi Lending account
Welcome to your Citi Lending account. To help you set up and manage your account with greater ease,
here are some useful resources to get you started.
Getting started
You will receive your e-Welcome pack within 48 hours of account approval. It will contain a copy of your financial table which includes your account number, credit limit, interest rates and other account specific details.
Please read the Unsecured Credit Terms and Conditions and Other Important Information and the Citigroup Pty Ltd Credit Guide for your account that will also be included in your e-Welcome pack. It is important you download and save them as this document, along with the financial table that you will receive, will form your credit contract with us.
You will receive your new card within 5 days of account approval. You will need your card to activate your account.
After activating your card you can add it to a digital wallet.
Setting up your Citi Lending account
1. Digital Wallets
Experience a faster, more convenient way to pay by turning your smartphone into a mobile wallet.
2. Citi Mobile® App
The Citi Mobile® App provides a convenient way of managing your Citi Lending account. Check account balances, set up your card PIN, transfer funds, view statements or take advantage of offers you may be eligible for. For more information on the Citi Mobile® App please visit citibank.com.au/citimobile.
3. Citi Online
To set up your Citi Online account visit Register now and follow the prompts. This will enable you to activate your account, set up your PIN and access a range of online services.
Making repayments on your Citi Lending account
Part of keeping your account in good condition is ensuring your repayments are made on time, each month. Here are 3 ways you can make your repayments:
1. Easi-Pay
Easi-Pay is a service you can use to set up automatic payments of your Minimum Payment Due, by the Payment Due Date each month.
Set-up your Easi-Pay service by completing the form in the link provided. Your request will be processed within 10 business days, after which your next statement will be paid via Easi-Pay.
Please note that it can take up to 3 business days for your Easi-Pay payment to be cleared from your bank account you have nominated to be debited. Until the payment is cleared, these funds will not be available for use.
2. BPAY®
To pay your Citi Lending account online or over the phone from a non-Citi account, use your account number as your customer reference number and use the relevant BPAY® Biller Code for your product.

Personal Credit: 49726
Please note that it can take up to 3 business days to process your BPAY payment. Until the payment is cleared, these funds will not be available for use. Your reference number is the same as your account number.
3. Direct Credit
You can simply pay your Citi Lending account from another account in your name by completing a funds transfer via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) through the Citi Mobile® App or Citi Online. Just remember to have your Citi Lending account BSB and account number handy.
Please note that it can take up to 3 business days to process your direct credit payment. Until the payment is cleared, these funds will not be available for use.

This calculation is an estimate only of the monthly repayment you would need to repay the balance transfer within the promotional period at the promotional rate. It does not take into account the establishment fee, ongoing purchases and cash advances. The minimum payment due on your statement will not be the same as the monthly repayment shown here. You can pay more than the minimum payment due with no additional repayment fee. Your statement provides all the information you need to manage your finances. You can learn about your statements and take note of the important sections here.
Register to receive electronic statements via Citi Online
To receive electronic statements via Citi Online visit our Statement and Notices page and follow the steps to register.
View and download statements online
You can view your statements and access up to 7 years’ worth of statements via Citi Online or the Citi Mobile® App.
Citi Online
- Log in to Citi Online
- Select ‘Services’ from the top menu
- Select ‘My Profile’
- Enter the One-Time PIN (OTP) when prompted. The OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Select ‘Statements and Notices’ from the left-hand menu
- Select ‘View/Download Statement’
- Choose the account you would like to see the statement for and the time period
- Click ‘Download’
Citi Mobile® App
- Log in to the Citi Mobile® App.
- Tap the 'Profile and Settings' icon on the top left of your app home screen.
- Tap 'Statements' under 'Account settings'.
- Select the relevant account.
- Choose the time period.
- Your statement will be shown in PDF format within the app.
Opening Balance
Opening Balance is the same as the Closing Balance from your last statement. If it is your first ever statement, or if you fully paid off your last
statement, the Opening Balance will be $0.
Closing Balance
Closing Balance is the total amount outstanding on your account at the end of the Statement Period. This includes any Fixed Payment Option
(FPO) balance not yet due for payment.
View your Closing Balance on your most recent statement or on the Citi Mobile® App by following the steps below:
- Log into the Citi Mobile® App
- Select your Citi Lending account
- View ‘Updated closing balance’
Minimum Payment Due (and Minimum Payment Due Date)
Minimum Payment Due refers to the minimum amount you need to pay by Minimum Payment Due Date. Minimum Payment Due Date is the date by
which we must receive your payment. Late payment fees may apply if your payment exceeds this date.
To ensure you don’t forget a repayment, set up an automatic repayment with Easi-Pay.
View your Minimum Payment Due and Minimum Payment Due Date on your most recent statement or on the Citi Mobile® App by following the steps
below:
- Log into the Citi Mobile® App
- Select your Citi Lending account
- Select ‘Updated closing balance’
- Your Minimum Payment and Due by date will display
Overdue Amount and Overlimit Amount
Overdue Amount is any charge from a previous monthly statement that is now overdue. This must be paid off promptly so that your account remains
in good standing.
Overlimit Amount is any amount you’ve spent over your Credit Limit. For example, if your Credit Limit is $10,000 but you have spent $10,500 then
the difference of $500 is due to be paid back to your account promptly.
View your Overdue Amount and Overlimit Amount on your most recent statement.
Current Balance
This refers to the total amount that you owe, at any given moment. View your Current Balance on the Citi Mobile® App by following the steps below:
- Log into the Citi Mobile® App
- Select your Citi Lending account
- Your Current Balance will display
Available Credit
This refers to how much of your Available Credit is still available to you, less any pending transactions or repayments.
View your Available Credit on your most recent statement or the Citi Mobile® App by following the steps below:
- Log into the Citi Mobile® App
- Select your Citi Lending account
- Your Available Credit will display
Balance Transfers
If you took up a Balance Transfer at the time of opening your account or took one up later as part of a promotional offer, your Balance Transfer
details can be found on your monthly statement. It will include the date your Balance Transfer plan will end, open balance, closing balance
and promotional interest rate. It is important to note that after the Balance Transfer expires, any unpaid balance will revert to your accounts standard
variable Annual Percentage Rate (APR).
View your Balance Transfer offer details on the Citi Mobile® App by following the steps below:
- Select your most recent statement on Citi Online or the Citi Mobile® App
- Your Balance Transfer offer details will appear under Promotional Interest Rate Summary
Instalment Plans
If you took up an instalment plan at the time of account opening or took up one later as part of a promotional offer, your instalment plan details can
be found on your monthly statement. It will include the instalment commencement date, instalment number, promotional interest rate,
monthly instalment amount due and outstanding balance. Your monthly statement helps you to check the progress you’re making with
instalment payments. This summary also includes an instalment plan number that you can reference for any customer service inquiries you might
need to make.
View your instalment plan details on the Citi Mobile® App by following the steps below:
- Select your most recent statement on Citi Online or the Citi Mobile® App
- Your instalment plan details will appear under Fixed Payment Option Summary
This shows a key section of your monthly statement, a listing of all your transactions for the Statement Period less any transactions that are still
pending. For each transaction you’ll find the date of the purchase, the transaction details (for example the retailer you spent with and where they
are located), a transaction reference number should you need to contact our customer service team, in addition to the purchase amount itself. You
should review each line item every month to make sure there are no unexpected charges. If you see any unexpected charges, you should immediately
contact our customer service team and lodge a transaction dispute. If applicable you will also find an itemised list of instalment plan interest charge
amounts, which you can find out more about above under ‘Instalment Offers’.
View your Available Credit on your most recent statement or on the Citi Mobile® App by following the steps below:
- Log into the Citi Mobile® App
- Select your Citi Lending account
- Select ‘See all transactions’
Fees and charges
It’s important to get a proper understanding of the fees and charges associated with your Citi Lending account. Our detailed list of rates, fees and charges includes key information such as annual fees, late payment fees and more, according to our different lending facilities.
Additional Cardholder
Request an additional Citi Lending Mastercard® for your account at no additional fee, allowing a loved one to enjoy the benefits you do from your Citi Lending account.
To apply for an additional cardholder, sign on to Citi Online, click on 'Services' and select 'Card Services', then click 'Additional Cardholder' and follow the prompts.
Setting up regular payments from your account
All Citi Lending accounts let you set up direct debits to pay your regular bills.
Refer to your statement for your BSB and account number. Simply provide your Citi Lending account BSB and account number or card number to the service providers of your choice and advise them that your preferred method of payment is a direct debit from your Citi Lending account.
